SWA MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS & LEVELS

The Society of West-Coast Artists has two chapters to choose from, however membership in either chapter is a member in SWA as a whole.

Members are entitled to:

Receive the newsletters for all chapters with the privilege of submitting news for the Members’ News column.
Be listed in the Membership Directory.
Receive all prospectus information for all member exhibitions and the Pacific Artistry Annual Online Open Exhibition.
Receive invitations to the Awards Receptions, all SWA, Events, and Educational Programs, free artist demo’s.
Members reduced rates on workshops and events.
Monthly meetings by Chapter

Membership costs $45/year.

Membership renewal is on a rolling
twelve basis.

If you join in April, you will pay
your dues in April of the following year.
All members will receive automatic renewal notices.

Membership Levels:

Regular Members:

A Member in good standing will have the benefit of enjoying all the benefits listed above.

Signature Members:

A Member in good standing will have the opportunity to apply for Signature Membership after completing the requirements to apply. Each artist accepted in the member shows accumulate points toward their esteemed Signature Award. Once achieved, Signature Members may use the initials SWA after their name as long as they are in good standing with SWA. To initiate a membership status change, detailed information regarding acceptances should be forwarded to the SWA President. A Signature Member will remain in good standing while there is no lapse in membership. Dues renewal notices will be sent out 60 days prior to the renewal date. A lapse in Signature membership occurs after 365 of unpaid overdue dues.
