Membership Levels

Members in both Chapters are entitled to:

• Receive the newsletters for all chapters with the privilege of submitting news for the Members’ News column.
• Be listed in the Membership Directory.
• Receive prospectus to the Anniversary International Exhibitions of Works on Paper and all Members’ Exhibitions.
• Receive invitations to the Awards Receptions, all SWA, Events, and Educational Programs, free demo’s and workshops.
• Members only plein air events.
• Members reduced rates on workshops and events.
• Monthly meetings by Chapter

Signature Membership

• A Member in good standing will have the opportunity to apply for Signature Membership after completing the requirements to apply. Each artist accepted in the member shows accumulate points toward their esteemed Signature Award. Once achieved, Signature Members may use the initials SWA after their name as long as they are in good standing with SWA. To initiate a membership status change, detailed information regarding acceptances should be forwarded to the SWA President. A Signature Member will remain in good standing while there is no lapse in membership. Dues renewal notices will be sent out 60 days prior to the renewal date. A lapse in Signature membership occurs after 365 of unpaid overdue dues. Read more to get all of the details and the form to submit.
